World Day of Prayer 2026

Christian World Service invited its supporters to join New Zealand’s World Day of Prayer on Friday 6 March. This year’s service was prepared by Christian women in Nigeria, who reflect on finding rest in God, drawing on Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11 to all who are weary and carry heavy burdens.
The newsletter also shows work by Gift Amarachi Ottah, a Nigerian artist whose art reflects the hardships and the resilience of women in her country.
