From radio broadcasts and video messages to shared services, churches in many countries marked the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January. In the Philippines, the National Council of Churches and the Catholic bishops’ commission on ecumenical affairs held a series of services and fellowship events together, with the council describing unity as the churches’ strongest witness.
