The Pacific Conference of Churches has looked back on a year of practical unity, in which Eastern and Western churches also shared the same date for Easter. The year included the Pacific Church Leaders’ Meeting in Pago Pago, American Samoa, a regional youth leadership gathering in Fiji, training to strengthen women’s leadership and safeguarding in the churches, and the launch of Pasifika Communities University as the Pacific Theological College broadened its vision for theological education.
