Christian World Service announced a partnership with New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tonga Community Development Trust to help communities in Tonga build resilience to repeated natural disasters.

The programme supports mental health in times of disaster, helps households find a wider range of income, and teaches ways of growing food that can cope with the storms and droughts that come with a changing climate.
