Rev. Phil King, the Presbyterian Church’s Global Mission Director, wrote from Lamen Bay on Epi Island, where the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu was meeting, in an area once served by New Zealand Presbyterian missionaries. The Moderator, Right Rev. Peter Dunn, Helen Dunn and the volunteer Neville Jones were also there.

The column previews training for chaplains, to be led by a team from the New Zealand church at Eton village on Efate at the Vanuatu church’s invitation, and thanks Saint Kentigern for its service programme in Vanuatu schools.
