The Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic Archbishops of Armagh, John McDowell and Eamon Martin, marked the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with a joint video message on the theme “One Body, One Spirit”.

Drawing on Ephesians 4 and the Armenian prayer traditions behind this year’s resources, they called Christians to deeper unity and to active peacemaking, describing peace as both a gift and a responsibility, and linked that call to the churches’ shared witness in Ireland.
