The Fiji Council of Churches held its annual Ecumenical Resurrection Sunday at the Suva Civic Centre on Easter Day, 5 April, a tradition that has brought Fiji’s churches together to celebrate the resurrection since 2017.

This year the programme centred on young people, with a theme about faith, family and a drug-free future, and included worship, testimonies from young people, cultural items and prayer for Fiji. The council’s general secretary, Rev. Sepiuta Hala’api’api, said the day showed young people from many denominations standing together.
