The Lutheran World Federation announced Together We Pray, a collection of prayers written by lay and ordained women from its member churches, due to be released online on 27 May in English, German, French and Spanish.
Shaped around the Lord’s Prayer, the book takes its inspiration from Katharina Schütz Zell, a sixteenth-century writer of the Reformation, and includes prayers for times of healing and childbirth and for peace. The general secretary, Rev. Dr Anne Burghardt, wrote the foreword.
