More than 330 young Christians from mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and Europe met at St Benedict Parish in Sha Tin from 30 April to 3 May for a Taizé Asian Youth Gathering, held for the eightieth anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The theme was “Messengers of Hope”.

Cardinal Stephen Chow, the Catholic Bishop of Hong Kong, and Archbishop Andrew Chan of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, the Anglican church, led the Bible introductions, and Brother Matthew led the meditations at evening prayer.
