Season of Creation opens with “Living Water”

The 2026 Season of Creation opened on 1 September with a service on the theme “Living Water”, from Ezekiel 47. Rev. James Bhagwan, general secretary of the Pacific Conference of Churches, preached on Jesus’ words about thirst in John 7 and on the rivers, wells and seas of the Pacific. This year the season began with the Feast of Creation, newly added to the Revised Common Lectionary.
