The Diocese of Polynesia kept its annual Bible Month in July under the theme “Anchoring Our Vaka on the Word”, inviting families to pray and study the Scriptures together each day.

This year’s resources focus on protecting young people from drug addiction and helping them heal, and on challenging the stigma faced by people living with HIV. Introducing them, Rev. Tupou Lino of Holy Trinity Cathedral in Suva drew on John 8 and described a community anchored in Christ as a safe vaka for people who are vulnerable.
