A new general secretary for the Christian Conference of Asia

Rev. Jung Eun “Grace” Moon was installed as the eleventh general secretary of the Christian Conference of Asia on 5 June, at a service during the Executive Committee meeting at the conference’s headquarters in Chiang Mai. She is the second woman to hold the post, and took office on 18 June.
She succeeds Dr Mathews George Chunakara, who had been general secretary since 2015. The moderator, Bishop Reuel Norman O. Marigza, and Dr Kuriakose Mor Theophilose Metropolitan led the service, and the treasurer, the Very Rev. Kwok-keung Chan, preached.
